The Mission

Our Enterprise clients buy “Safety” and “Strategy.” You are that safety. You will act as the Fractional Head of SEO for 3-4 high-growth accounts, translating our AI-driven data into boardroom-ready strategy. You are the “Face” of the agency to our highest-value partners.

A Day in the Life

Morning: Review the “Executive Summaries” generated by our Analytics Agents. Spot the trend (e.g., “Competitor X is losing visibility”) and formulate a plan.

Mid-Day: Client Strategy Call. You are presenting the Q3 Roadmap to a Series B Founder. You aren’t reporting on “backlinks built”; you are reporting on “Share of Search” and “Revenue Attribution.”

Afternoon: Deep Work. You are building a “Topical Authority Map” for a new Fintech client, defining the 50 clusters we need to own to beat the incumbent.

Your Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership: Lead bi-weekly strategy calls with CMOs and Founders. You must be able to hold the room.
  • The “Why”: Define the strategic angles that the Content Pilots will execute. You provide the compass; they fly the plane.
  • Quality Governance: You are the final sign-off. You review the work of the Pilots and Architects to ensure it meets the “MD Standard” before it goes to the client.
  • Crisis Management: Handle migrations, core update recoveries, and technical triage.

Your KPIs

  • Retention: Maintaining a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 9+ with your accounts.
  • Growth: Driving a measurable increase in “Non-Brand Organic Revenue” for your portfolio.
  • Upsell: Identifying opportunities to expand the scope (e.g., moving a client from “Content Only” to “Full Technical Retainer”).

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally with Agency or In-House leadership exposure.
  • You are not afraid of AI—you see it as a lever to multiply your expertise, not a threat to your job.
  • You communicate clearly. You can explain “Token Limit” and “Vector Embeddings” to a non-technical CMO without using jargon.
  • You are commercially minded—you care about ROI and P&L, not just rankings.
